Professional Artists and Sportsmen visa (VITEM III)

GENERAL RULES

Foreign citizens travelling to Brazil as performing artists and sportspersons, who receive payment from a Brazilian source, must have this type of visa.

·         Approval of work contract by the Brazilian Ministry of Labour and Employment is required, prior to visa application.

·         Applicants must have lived in Singapore for at least 1 year prior to the visa application

·         It is the responsibility of the sponsor, promoter or employer to make all necessary arrangements related to the contract in Brazil, prior to the lodging of the visa application.

·         First entry into Brazil must be within 90 days from the date that visa was issued.

·         It is the responsibility of the applicant to make sure the application is lodged accordingly.

·         An Embarkation/Disembarkation card, provided to all visitors by the Brazilian Immigration authorities (DPMAF), must be filled in and signed appropriately and submitted to immigration upon arrival and when leaving Brazil.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

·         Passport, valid for no less than six months

·         Soiled, damaged or defaced passports will not be accepted

·         Visa Application Form must be filled on-line at https://scedv.serpro.gov.br

·         Fill in the form.
. Click "SEND" to receive your processing number and receipt.
. Print the receipt.
. Attach one passport-size photograph.
. Sign the receipt.
. Bring the duly completed and signed receipt, the original documentation, passport and payment to the Embassy.

·         The application form filled–out on-line is valid for one month only; if you apply after that period it will be necessary to complete fill-out another form.

·         Certificate of vaccination, where necessary

Payment of the consular fee of S$40.00 * - Visa fee must be deposited at United Overseas Bank (UOB), account number: 116/310/925-0 - Embassy of Brazil.

* Note that deposit made at the Embassy of Brazil's account is non-refundable, and payment must be made only on the day that application will be lodged; the nearest UOB branch from the Embassy is at Velocity @ Novena Square Shopping Centre. 

* USA citizens are subject to an additional processing fee of S$200.00, in reciprocity for a similar fee charged by the US authority for processing all kinds of visa. On the same basis, attendance of the applicant in person is mandatory. 

* When applying through a travel agent or courier, an additional fee of S$40.00 will be charged.
