Deputy Minister of Development, Trade and Industry and Brazilian delegation to take part in LAB 2007 |

 The Deputy Minister of Development, Industry and Trade of Brazil, Ivan Ramalho, will be in Singapore on October 1-2 to take part in the Latin Asia Business Forum 2007, organized by IE Singapore, and meet Singaporean officials and businessmen. Other Brazilian participants of the forum will be the representatives of the Secretariat for Economic Development and the Institute for Integrated Development of Minas Gerais. The Secretariat for Economic Development of the Federal District (Brasília) will also send representatives in a joint mission with APEX, the Brazilian Export Agency. Many Brazilian companies will be represented at LAB 2007, such as Embraer, Petrobras, CVRD, and others. Minister Celso Amorim and Minister George Yeo meet in Brazil |

 21-08-2007 The Minister of External Relations of Brazil, Celso Amorim, met the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Singapore, George Yeo, in Brasília, Brazil, on August 21. The Ministers met a day before the beginning of the III Ministerial Meeting of the Forum for East Asia-Latin America Cooperation (FEALAC), comprised of 33 nations of the two regions. The Ministers discussed the state of bilateral relations and many topics of the global agenda, such as trade and investment between the two regions and the Doha WTO Negotiations. Minister Yeo invited Minister Amorim to visit Singapore.
