Brazil and Singapore have a significant potential for cooperation in education, by fostering agreements between Universities and research institutes and facilitating the exchange of professors, scholars and students.

In 2006, the Embassy took part in the Nanyang Technical University Global iFair, promoting opportunities for Singaporeans undergraduate and graduate students to spend sometime in Brazil. In 2007, a Brazilian delegation led by Professor José Mello, from Universidade Federal Fluminense, visited Singapore to take part in the Triple Helix Conference, which discusses cooperation Universities-Companies-Government.
