21-03-2008 The Chairman of the Brazilian Senate Foreign Relations and National Defense Committee, H.E. Senator Heráclito Fortes, and a delegation comprising Senators Antônio Carlos Valadares, Geraldo Mesquita Júnior and Adelmir Santana, visited Singapore on March 20-21, closing a tour of the region that included Hanoi, Jacarta and Díli. The Senators met Deputy Speaker of Parliament Matthias Yao and other MPs, and visited the Parliament House. Minister for Foreign Affairs George Yeo hosted the delegation to dinner at the Eurasian Association. Bilateral relations and regional developments were among the matters discussed between Minister Yeo and the Brazilian Senators.
