A Embaixada do Brasil em Cingapura informa que suas atividades consulares cessarão temporariamente nos dias 14 e 15 de novembro, em decorrência dos feriados referentes aos dias do Servidor Público e da Proclamação da República.

The Embassy of Brazil in Singapore informs that its consular activities will cease temporarily on November the 14th and 15th due to Civil Servant Day and Republic Day.

New visa procedure

As of 4^th January 2010, visa aplication procedures will undergo a change.

With the new Integrated Consular System recently installed at the Embassy, visas to citizens wishing to travel to Brazil are now digitally issued and more secure. A visa application form is to be filled online, before arriving at the Embassy. Supporting documentations remain unchanged, click here to read the requirements for the type of visa you wish to obtain. At the end of the procedure, click “Send” and print the receipt with the corresponding processing number. The receipt must be brought to the Embassy with the supporting documents.

As the new ICP-Brazil channel is not yet automatically recognized by some browsers, the access to the site “SCEDV” (Sistema de Emissão e Controle de Documentos de Viagem) may be preceded by a warning on the safety and reliability of the site. One should proceed and enter the site with confidence on its safety and reliability.

NOTE: A BRAZILIAN VISA IS NOT THE APPLICANT'S RIGHT AND MAY BE DENIED. A VISA BY ITSELF DOES NOT GUARANTEE THE RIGHT OF ENTRY OR SOJOURN IN BRAZIL AND MAY BE CANCELLED AT THE BRAZILIAN IMMIGRATION AUTHORITIES' DISCRETION. THE TYPE OF VISA AND ITS VALIDITY ARE ALSO SOVEREIGN DECISIONS OF THE CONSULAR AUTHORITY. NO DISCUSSION ON THIS MATTER WILL BE ENTERTAINED.
